ATLANTA – As group show director, I focus relentlessly on improving each and every Medtrade and Medtrade Spring. While I do this, I often feel as if government policy is working against HME providers, the very people I serve.
It can be frustrating, but much like you, I don’t have the luxury of walking around with my head down. Instead, I work with an outstanding educational advisory board to make a better Medtrade that helps providers find ways to overcome bad policy.
We at Medtrade also work with the American Association for Homecare to influence policy and spread the word about how you can help. Through it all, we work with exhibitors and presenters who have an infectious enthusiasm.
Exhibitors new and old see incredible opportunity, and they are willing to work with providers to find ways to make money, whether it is through Medicare or the retail cash route. Medtrade is evolving to take advantage of solutions, and I invite you to do the same.
And finally, a sincere thanks to all of the exhibiting companies and sponsors of this year’s show. Your ongoing support of Medtrade, Medtrade Spring, and the HME industry is appreciated.
Again, welcome to Medtrade. Feel free to reach out to me, or anyone on our team if we can do anything to improve your show experience. Enjoy the show. For those of you unable to make it this year, I hope to see you at Medtrade Spring 2015, which takes place in Las Vegas from March 30-April 1.
