ORLANDO, FL – The AAHomecare Legislative Update is scheduled to kick off Medtrade tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. in Room W204 (A/B/C). AAHomecare’s team of legislative and regulatory experts will talk about competitive bidding, the audit crisis, and mobility issues from a Washington, D.C. perspective.

Find out what AAHomecare’s plans are for the future and how the Association will fight for its members as they fight for their businesses. Scheduled speakers include: Tom Ryan, president and CEO (pictured); Jay Witter, vice president of Government Affairs; Robert Steedley, chairman; and Kim Brummett, senior director of Regulatory Affairs.

AAHomecare will give its annual Homecare Champion Award to Scott Meuser, chairman and CEO of Pride Mobility, and to DME industry advocate Shelly Prial (pictured). The Award recognizes Association members who have made exceptional contributions to the home care community throughout their careers. AAHomecare will present the awards to Meuser and Prial at the Stand Up for Homecare reception.

To find advocacy professionals on the show floor, attendees can visit several locations, including the Advocacy Pavilion (Booth #1832). As legislative challenges continue to plague the HME industry, the need to unite all stakeholders, including consumer groups, has never been more critical.
