Alan Morris serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategy at VGM, where he leads strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and value creation across the organization’s member and vendor ecosystem. With nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, Alan brings deep expertise in market analysis, strategic planning, and business development.

Alan’s career spans both service provider and healthcare provider environments, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and operational excellence. He has a proven track record of identifying emerging trends and translating them into actionable strategies that enhance organizational performance. His insights have helped VGM members and partners navigate complex market dynamics and implement effective, forward-looking business strategies.

Alan’s tenure at VGM includes two impactful periods—first from 2007 to 2014, and again since 2022—during which he has been a prominent voice in the industry. He is a sought-after speaker, having delivered keynotes, seminars, and webinars on healthcare trends, particularly those affecting Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers.

Prior to rejoining VGM, Alan led the analytics function at a Midwestern health system. In that role, he oversaw a multidisciplinary team of consultative analysts focused on strategic planning, financial modeling, clinical operations, and value-based contracting.
