Ana is an Occupational Therapist with over 11 years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of complex children. Her current role in utilization management emphasizes policy development, interprofessional collaboration, and comprehensive training both internally and externally. She also serves as an adjunct faculty member at Baylor University and is currently pursuing her Post-Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, focusing on education and research.

Her diverse pediatric background spans various settings, including acute care, NICU, inpatient, outpatient, home health, and Early Childhood Intervention (ECI). In these roles, she provided direct treatment, participated in the neurodevelopment clinic, managed program development, and organized education and fieldwork. She holds specialized certifications in the treatment of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and the use and application of Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES). Ana has extensive expertise in feeding and positioning, movement analysis, and teaching/lecturing.
