LAS VEGAS – For those of you already here in Las Vegas, welcome. For those of you on the way, we look forward to your arrival. If you’re still on the fence, I hope you jump off this way because there is still time, and a lot to see and do. We kick off today with a variety of educational sessions, workshops, a panel discussion, round tables, and networking opportunities. Education continues tomorrow, along with the 10:00 a.m. opening of the expo hall, and we wrap up on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
Thanks to the whole Medtrade team for their hard work in bringing to you what I trust will be a great experience. Medtrade Spring represents the collaboration of an entire staff, along with an educational advisory board, working together for the good of the industry. Even in a digital age, we believe in the value of face-to-face interaction, and the continuing vitality of Medtrade Spring shows that providers agree.
Whether you’re at the show, or still pondering the drive, networking events are a great way to add another human element to the mix. Space is still available for two new networking events at Medtrade Spring: The HME Breakfast Club and The Audit Happy Hour.
If you’re in Las Vegas today, The Audit “Happy” Hour, sponsored by ACU-Serve, is scheduled for Monday, March 30, from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm in South Pacific I. Join Jeffrey S. Baird, JD, chairman, Health Care Group, Brown & Fortunato PC, and a host of audit experts for healthy networking and lively interaction. Audits may not be particularly happy, but figuring out how to navigate them over a few cocktails with friends can certainly lighten the mood. After all, some would say that audits do drive us to drink, right?!
Click Here to register for The Audit Happy Hour or simply come to the registration desk in hall Bayside B at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
Sponsored by Laboratory Marketing, Strategic A/R and Wheel:Life, the HME Breakfast Club, scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, from 8:30 am – 10:00 am., is a great way to start your day, get inspired, break bread, and meet other like-minded HME professionals. A ticket includes breakfast, time to chat with peers, and Pamela Kaehler, executive director of Fairmont Home Medical, will give a keynote speech. Interested attendees can purchase tickets at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center registration desk in the Bayside B section, or click here to add to your registration
Anyone who has any questions about the registration process should call: (877) 914-4677 (toll free) or (240) 439-2984 (International residents) between the hours of 9:00 am – 6:00 pm eastern standard time, or email: [email protected].
Let us know what we can do to help you while you are here. Enjoy the week, and I’m glad you’re here. If other obligations keep you away, I look forward to seeing you October 26-29, 2015, in Atlanta for Medtrade.
Kevin Gaffney is group show director, Medtrade.
