ATLANTA – Eight finalists in the 2017 Innovative HME Retail Product Awards, sponsored by HomeCare Magazine, took 3.5 minutes each on day one of Medtrade to state their case as to why their product was the best to boost cash sales.

Judges Tim Rutti, Valley Medical Supplies; Rob Baumhover, director of Retail, VGM Group; and R.J. Poonawala, Spring Branch Medical Supply, asked pointed questions and cast their own votes. Moderator Jim Greatorex, vice president, VGM Live at Home, a division of the VGM Group, tabulated all the votes to come up with the top three.

New Product Pavilion Providers’ Choice Awards
ATLANTA – Medtrade attendees voted on their favorites and the votes have been tabulated. The New Product Pavilion Providers’ Choice Awards (sponsored by HomeCare Magazine). “Votes from New Product Pavilion attendees are collected and tabulated to get a true sense of what providers are looking for in a new product,” says Sarah Varner, marketing director, Medtrade.

Owlet Smart Sock 2 with Connected Care from Owlet Baby Care
Smart Sock 2 uses pulse oximetry to track babies’ heart rate and oxygen levels while they sleep, designed to notify caregivers if the levels fall outside of preset zones. Connected Care is a new app that allows parents/caregivers to analyze more detailed information.
