Raising awareness among manufacturers about the robust HME distribution channel got a major bump earlier this month during Hage’s 10x Medical Device Conference, held at the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. Kevin Gaffney, group show director, Medtrade, moderated the panel that featured: Tom Ryan, president and CEO, American Association for Homecare; Jeremy Malecha, senior director, ResMed; Mike Serhan, executive vice president, Drive Medical Design and Engineering; and Seth Johnson, vice president, Government Affairs, Pride Mobility Products Corp.
Hage sat down with Mike Sperduti (pictured), president of the Mike Sperduti Companies, and Gaffney last week on HME Voice to talk about the extraordinary opportunity of the coming years. “We don’t have enough conversations about home care,” said Hage during the 15-minute conversation. “I thought it [HME-focused session] was one of the most compelling parts of the three-day 10X event.”
