LAS VEGAS – The DME industry of today is much more sophisticated than the industry 10 years ago. To succeed in today’s environment, DME suppliers must be smart, innovative, and unafraid to take calculated risks. And as suggested in my article in today’s issue of Medtrade Monday, the supplier must be compliant.
During the course of the year, DME suppliers can receive bits and pieces of education from disparate sources. However, there is only one place where the supplier can (i) receive unequaled education; (ii) walk the exhibition floor and converse with vendors; (iii) participate in interactive activities with industry experts and other suppliers; and (iv) have informal, but highly important, meetings with peers. That place is Medtrade. Next month is Medtrade Spring in Las Vegas, specifically March 3-5 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
There will be an exciting exhibition floor with vendors we are familiar with…and with new vendors that are just now entering the DME market. The education programs will be interactive. Normally, each program will have two or more discussion leaders. Medtrade Spring will have the always popular Audit Happy Hour and Lunch n’ Learn.
The leadership team of AAHomecare will spend time educating us on what is happening on Capitol Hill and with CMS, and what we can expect over the next 12 months. And then we have Stand Up for Homecare. This is the reception in which industry stakeholders gather and discuss the DME industry. Only at Medtrade and Medtrade Spring do all of these important components come together. We look forward to seeing you there!
