DES MOINES, IA – The Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services (MAMES) 2024 Spring Conference & Display Hall wrapped in late April in Des Moines, Iowa—this time with a 17% increase in provider attendance.
“We build our conferences from the inside out,” said Rose Schafhauser, executive director. “Asking our members for the top action items in their daily business and building education, networking and our vendor hall around those needs. We always start with the question to our members: What can we provide at our events that you need to run your business better and more efficiently? Then we go out and build a program with the experts that can answer those questions and build the programs our members need and it shows in the success of our events.”
The new Downtown Marriott Des Moines venue received positive reviews and MAMES is looking to expand the space for 2025. “The MAMES Display Hall featured 60 displaying vendors from across the spectrum of our industry plus an additional four in attendance without displays as we sold out our space,” added Jim Schafhauser, MAMES Member Services. “We are truly humbled by the support our MAMES Associate Members provide for our events. Every vendor in attendance is a MAMES Member and their support allows us to provide the quality dinners, luncheons, receptions and entertainment that our MAMES events have become known for.”
The next MAMES 2024 Conference & Display Hall is scheduled for Oct. 2-4, 2024 in Minnesota. MAMES represents nearly 250 providers, manufacturers and service representatives across the states of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
