LARGO, FL – For HME providers who need help managing the complexities of respiratory equipment service and preventive maintenance, Quality Medical, Largo, Fla, is expanding its national footprint. Having one organization simplify the process and streamline the back-office workflow allows HME providers to focus on the important side of their business—boosting referrals and taking care of patients.
“Our foundation is built on our software platform, Q-Connect, that helps providers manage equipment service faster and easier while storing all of their important service records in the cloud,” says William Ross, vice president of Marketing at the company offices in Boulder, Colorado. “This is where we separate ourselves from the competition. We created a platform that customers use as a supplement to their billing system to holistically support everything they need for their equipment, from inter-branch equipment movement and between-patient recertification, to full equipment calibration and service.”
Attendees at Medtrade can explore the possibilities in person when Quality Medical exhibits at the nation’s largest HME-focused trade show, scheduled for Oct 15-17, 2018, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Those who visit the company’s booth will find a company willing and able to perform tangible services that keep the business humming.
“When your equipment has a service schedule set by the manufacturer that mandates that you check and calibrate every year, we are there,” Ross explains. “If you are moving the device from one patient to another, for example, that equipment needs to be cleaned, tested, and readied for the next use. We are factory-certified and run the devices through the proper ISO-certified protocols to make sure everything is ready to go.”
For a long time, Quality Medical made a name for itself primarily in the southeast. In 2018, company officials opened facilities in Colorado and Texas, with plans for six additional sites throughout the country. Along with large developments on its cloud platform, national expansion is a way to support customers who may be growing from a single location to more of a regional presence. These customers want an equipment service provider that matches their footprint.
Ross explains, “We have some exciting things happening right around the time of the Medtrade show. Our Q-Connect product, for example, will be rolling out new feature sets that simplify your team’s workflow dramatically, saving time and money. It is a new and evolving solution, and we look forward to sharing it with Medtrade attendees this October.”
