DALLAS – The M-Edge line of mobility bags and cases are back at Medtrade, scheduled for Feb. 18-20 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.
Made by the World Richman Manufacturing Corporation in Elgin, Ill., the M-Edge line equips all types of rollators, walkers, wheelchairs, and scooters.
Scott Mareci, OEM & national sales manager, is making his third trip to the nation’s largest HME-focused trade show. Medtrade Monday sat down with Mareci to learn more about the product and why attendees should stop by Booth #740 in Dallas.
Medtrade Monday: Why should Medtrade attendees pay a visit to your booth?
Mareci: We hope attendees will stop by so they can see and feel the quality we instill in our line of mobility bags—and take advantage of our show specials. It also gives our show staff an opportunity to answer any questions and explain how our line can help.
Medtrade Monday: What are the origins of the company?
Mareci: World Richman Manufacturing Corp is a 35+ year OEM cut-and-sew manufacturer. We started as an OEM leather goods manufacturer working with corporate and retail companies around the world. We still work with corporate and retail companies worldwide, but we have evolved into a multifaceted manufacturer in all types of fabrics for bags, cases, and straps. With our in-house sales and design teams, we are always looking to expand into new markets with new designs.
Medtrade Monday: When did you start the line of mobility bags?
Mareci: In 2023 we started our new line of mobility bags under our house brand name M-Edge. We saw a need in the market for a selection of goods to help keep people independent and on the go.
Medtrade Monday: Why are in-person trade shows such as Medtrade still relevant?
Mareci: In-person trade shows are still needed so that suppliers and buyers can meet and discuss current and future needs to meet the demands of the public. It’s also a time for buyers to see first-hand what products their current suppliers are offering, as well as to meet new suppliers with new products. Only seeing products online does not do the products justice. If buyers don’t attend, they may miss out on opportunities to offer their clients and customers a new or better solution to their everyday needs.
