MC02: From Code Activation to Access: Overcoming Delays in Payor Adoption
Overview of the new intermittent catheter (IC) HCPCS codes and the implications of them for suppliers, payors, and patients; explain implementation lag and factors driving the lag; highlight the real-world impact we have experienced when payors do not implement on time, proactive strategies and tools for manufacturers and suppliers to consider to minimize disruption. Session will include a brief lecture followed by a panel discussion with time for audience Q&As; panel representation will include panelists from Coloplast, an IC manufacturer, and Comfort Medical, an IC supplier.
