ATLANTA – Registration for Medtrade opened last week, and providers are signing up for the nation’s premiere HME trade show, scheduled for Oct 20-23, 2014, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Early rates are considerably lower, and in effect until mid September.
“Early rates are $25 for expo and $99 for conference, for a savings of $75 and $201,” says Kevin Gaffney, group show director, Medtrade. “But watch your email for even more savings.”
Medtrade attracts thousands of HME providers, home health care professionals, and leading manufacturers of home health care products and technology. With 95% of exhibitor space already reserved, the trade show is the largest annual sourcing opportunity for DME and HME products.
“This is a big year for Medtrade,” said Robert Steedley, chairman of the American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare). “With an influx of new exhibitors signing up and bringing new products and fresh perspectives to the show, it is an exciting time to be an attendee. The industry is going through big changes, and it is more important than ever to be involved and be up to date on the latest trends and products.”
“The energy going into Medtrade this year is charged and exciting,” added Tom Ryan (pictured), CEO of AAHomecare. “This is a great opportunity for AAHomecare members who haven’t attended in previous years to come meet the new faces in the industry. Medtrade is the perfect venue for education and networking. The Stand Up for Homecare reception promises to be the networking event of the year for the HME community.”
