LAS VEGAS – Educational sessions benefit Medtrade Spring attendees every year, but those chance conversations at various networking events can add crucial bits of information. The always popular Power Lunch will be one of the highlights on Tuesday, March 31, but a day earlier attendees may also choose the Audit Happy Hour.
Wine, beer, and soft drinks will be on tap during the Happy Hour networking reception with audit experts. The event takes place on Monday, March 30, from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Jeff Baird, frequent Medtrade speaker and attorney with Brown & Fortunato will be speaking during the Audit Happy Hour prior to the less formal reception. Another new event, sponsored by Laboratory Marketing, Strategic A/R and Wheel:Life, is the HME Breakfast Club, scheduled for Wednesday, April 1, from 8:30 am – 10:00 am. This new conference experience is a great way to start your day, get inspired, eat some food, and meet other like-minded HME professionals.
A ticket includes breakfast, time to chat with other like-minded HME professionals, and Pamela Kaehler, executive director of Fairmont Home Medical, will give a keynote speech. Kaehler points out that 80% of our nation’s healthcare purchasing decisions are made by women, but about 66% of women feel misunderstood by healthcare marketers. As executive director of Fairmont Home Medical, Kaehler will talk about the role of women in healthcare from the viewpoint of both a healthcare professional and a patient.
