COLUMBIA, SC – I will be presenting at Medtrade in Atlanta, Georgia, and I hope to connect with you there. Medtrade is our industry’s largest trade show, and the biggest draw of incredible talent. It is a time to collaborate and to tap the most brilliant minds in our industry. Where else can you access Medicare representatives, knowledgeable consultants, informed attorneys, and respected peers? The tradeshow is offering nearly 100 different courses in few short days.
My session will take place on Wednesday, Nov 2, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and I will be presenting The DME Cash Crunch – Where is Your Revenue Getting Stuck? This topic is particularly timely considering the current reimbursement challenges facing our industry. Suppliers are anxious to look within and exert control over their internal processes. Without a doubt, we need to maximize our profitability. We can start by freeing up existing revenue and stop allowing pools of revenue to continue getting stuck.
There are a lot of elements outside your control, but this session will be focusing on processes that are entirely within your control. Freeing up log jams enables cash to flow more freely, and for your staff to be working smarter, not harder.
During this engaging session, I will discuss:
• protocols that unwittingly build AR;
• processes that create non-collectible AR;
• strategies to modify existing “bad billing” behaviors to ensure future billing success; and
• tactics to analyze where your revenue is getting held up—and how to fix it going forward.
Medtrade takes place Oct 31-Nov 3 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. I hope to see you there.
