I was saddened to hear about the death of Michael W. Hamilton who retired last month from his long-time post as executive director of the Alabama Durable Medical Equipment Association. I first met Mike at Medtrade in the year 2000 and he graciously took time for an interview in the hallway.
Mike was a reliable and knowledgeable source when a quote was needed. Unfailingly polite, he was unafraid to be provocative, while always maintaining a true sense of fairness. He will be missed. My sincere condolences go to his family and friends.  – G. Thompson, editor, Medtrade Monday
