WASHINGTON, DC – It’s been a little more than 15 months since an unexplained respiratory illness outbreak in China began to show up in news reports, and just over a year since lock-downs, masking, and social distancing became a part of daily life across the U.S. Though it all, the HME community has been at the front lines of the pandemic, and I’m incredibly proud of the contributions we’ve made to protecting vulnerable patient populations and lessening the incredible stresses on hospitals and clinicians.
While the impacts of the coronavirus will continue to be widely felt throughout 2021, I am cheered by the enthusiasm and sense-of-anticipation that is coursing through our industry as we begin to return to normal. And I’m especially excited by the prospect of seeing the great people of this industry in person again at Medtrade West in July.
This first edition of the newly-branded Medtrade West will be unique in many respects, but it will still deliver the unmatched opportunity to connect with and learn from some of the most accomplished individuals in HME.
The Medtrade West team, along with educational session and workshop presenters, and industry-leading companies who are exhibiting, have worked together to develop a great event for you in Phoenix. They have also put in place safety protocols to ensure your well-being and peace of mind in attending.
There are incredible opportunities for HME suppliers and manufacturers in the years ahead, as well as significant policy and payer issues we need to face together to be able to take advantage of those opportunities. Medtrade West is where we start that journey; you don’t want to miss it.
Medtrade West is scheduled for July 12-14, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ.
