ATLANTA – Officials at Medtrade East recently signed International Biophysics Corp to exhibit at Medtrade East, scheduled for Oct. 18-20, 2021 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Austin, Tex-based International Biophysics Corp makes AffloVest, a mobile, mechanical high-frequency chest wall oscillation (HFCWO) vest, as well as many other medical devices.
RTs at Best Home Medical, Barboursville, WV, train patients to use a variety of respiratory equipment, in addition to techniques such as coughing and/or deep breathing. “If COPD patients can cough effectively, that’s a good way for them to clear airway secretions,” says Regina Gillispie, CEO and owner of Best Home Medical. “When that’s not enough, our staff RTs rely on technology such as the AffloVest.”
“We are thrilled to welcome International Biophysics Corp to the show,” says York Schwab, associate show director, Medtrade East. “We feel like the enthusiasm is building and we’re seeing a lot of interest from a wide range of companies.”
New and returning exhibitors continue to sign on for the nation’s largest HME-focused trade show, returning to Atlanta this year after the 2020 pandemic-related cancellation. Old Forge, Pa-based Golden Technologies recently committed to showcasing its innovative products in the power lift recliner and mobility divisions.
“We aim to lead our retailers to more education that will help them succeed. Nothing replaces the experience of the face-to-face interaction gained by attending a show and now that travel restrictions have softened, we’re eager to see our retailers at Medtrade East to learn about all of the tremendous innovation we have been working on during the pandemic,” said Rich Golden, president & CEO of Golden Technologies. “Thanks to the support of our thousands of retailers across the country, including our exclusive Flagship retailers, we are poised to help more Americans maintain their independence and enjoy a new level of comfort with our unique designs and advanced technology than ever before.”
