WATERLOO, IA – In a ceremony during the Heartland Conference in Waterloo, Iowa, Robin Menchen, CEO of Rotech Healthcare, was awarded the 2025 HME Woman Of The Year.
Robin began with Rotech over 30 years ago, where she first started as compliance officer. Through the years, Robin continually moved up, holding pivotal roles in Rotech, including Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Operations Officer.
In 2024, Robin became the first female CEO and President of Rotech. Robin’s outlook for taking Rotech to new heights and challenging the norms has proven successful throughout her tenure. “Robin has literally given her life career to this industry,” said Joni Moss, chief administration officer for Rotech. “She is a transformational leader, creates a common vision and motivates us as a team to meet that vision.”
Now in its ninth year, the HME Woman of the Year Award, presented by VGM Group, recognizes one woman in the industry who has made significant contributions throughout her career to her company, community, and the HME industry.
“I am truly honored to accept this prestigious award,” Robin said. “It’s especially humbling given the talent and success of the other deserving nominees. I want to thank VGM Group, my fellow nominees, and all the mentors I’ve had over the last 31 years in HME. I know and appreciate how hard everyone in this room and this industry works to provide for our patients. And I’m proud to be part of it.”
“Robin is a true visionary in the HME space,” said Jeremy Stolz, CEO of VGM Group. “What she sets her mind to, she achieves. And as Rotech’s first woman CEO and President, she has made a considerable impact on the industry. Thank you, Robin, and all our HME Woman Of The Year finalists for your continued work and innovation in the industry.”
