DALLAS – It’s been two weeks since Medtrade convened in Dallas, with exhibitors following-up on leads and inspired attendees trying out new tech and new methods. Last week we published part one of Medtrade reactions, and this week’s part two reveals more reasons why Medtrade is the ideal place for providers who are looking for new opportunities.
“It was vitally important to put more resources into the show as a technology vendor, and that is what we have done. New technology is flooding into the space and it will only grow. We invested more into the Tech Talks and we are going to continue that. We noticed that tech vendors selected their booth to be in the area. We’ve invested more in the Technology Track educational sessions, and we will expand that next year with more content. The buzz at Medtrade was AI and process automation to improve workflow and compliance. Our goal is to help automate processes and improve efficiencies so that DME suppliers can focus on patient care.” — Chris Kinard, Valere Health (sponsor of Tech Talks)
“Medtrade is a great place to meet everyone in one place. We met existing customers and potential new customers. Interactions with vendors were beneficial. At Medtrade you learn about the challenges in the industry.” — Jeff Bloom, Beck’s Classic Mfg., Brentwood, N.Y.
“We’ve had a good show—very busy with good turnout. We’ve had attendees in the booth at all times. We’ve been showing off new products and it’s been exciting.” — Morgan Stout, Rhythm Healthcare, Clearwater, Fla.
“Medtrade has been busy for us with a non-stop series of presentations showing off our 18 new products—lift chairs and scooters. The hit of the lift chairs was the Nirvana with its 15-minute Swedish air massage. People are also loving the foldable Carry-On Scooter with its 400-pound capacity. Our customers know that we are investing in our factory to grow it. We are family-owned and operated and our owners’ last name is on every product. We love Dallas. The set-up crew is fantastic.” — C.J. Copley, Golden, Old Forge, Pa.
“We are an innovative company bringing products to market and we come to the show with 700 of our 1,200 products. Overall it’s great to walk our customers through the booth and show them what we have.” — John Burns, Vive Health
“Traffic has been steady over the two Expo days. Medtrade is a great way to reconnect and establish new contacts. It’s a great event and we would not miss it.” — A.J. Donatoni, Pride Mobility
“Medtrade has been really good. We’ve met a lot of DMEs that are doing a variety of things. The number of mom-and-pops at this show was incredible, and we tried to guide them with the right automation. When we were not on the show floor, the outside meetings were also great. We come to Medtrade and we are able to shake hands, rub shoulders, and network. It’s a great opportunity.” — Timothy Freidel, DME Flow, Rapid City, S.D.
“Medtrade has been a successful show for us. It’s been great with good foot traffic. We are not getting much ‘window-shopping’. People are coming to our booth with a purpose.” — Adam Gilg, Niko Health, Middletown, N.J.
“We’ve had consistent foot traffic at Medtrade, with events in the booth driving that traffic. People are sniffing around and we’ve even had some people signing contracts on the show floor.” — Kevin Harrell, Bonafide, Thousand Oaks, Calif.
“A lot of attendees have been interested in what’s coming out from our company, specifically the new lightweight bariatric bed—which overcomes typical setup problems. People here at Medtrade have curiosity. They are staying genuinely engaged to better their business. They are looking for vendors who are looking out for them. I’m also hearing a lot of excitement about Phoenix in 2026.” — Andrew Pajak, Medline Industries, Northfield, Ill.
“I have some big customers here at Medtrade. The AAHomecare Stand Up For Homecare was a good event, and I’ve had face time with customers—and that’s been really valuable.” — James Kerby, ResMed, San Diego, Calif.
“Medtrade has been a great way to meet customers. Even here at the edge of the Expo floor, we’ve had good traffic. People are in a shopping mood.” — Kristy Gao, Cenote, San Francisco, Calif.
“We’ve had serious conversations and good opportunities across the board. It’s definitely worth it to be here at Medtrade, and we have re-upped for 2026.” — Chip Smith, Synthpop, AI, Brooklynn, N.Y.
“This is our first time at a medical show. It met our expectations and we learned a ton. It has worked out very well.” — Jim Oostdyk, Wrappon, Stewartsville, N.J.
“I’m a first-time attendee and we attended educational sessions for managed care and payor relations and they were really informative. The speakers kept my attention and I took lots of notes that I could bring back to the team. We also enjoyed the session on UPIC Audits with Michael Silverman and Noelle Neil. It was excellent and there is so much to learn. I am mostly here for the education, but I saw a bit of everything on the Expo floor.” — Lori Fitzgerald, Viemed, Maurice, La.
“We’ve had good quality meetings at Medtrade. The traffic volume was definitely a little higher than last year. People seem serious. A lot of the larger corporate dealers and owners are here. They are looking to grow and looking for options.” — Ross Coulter, National Ramp, Valley Cottage, N.Y.
“We’ve received more inquiries this year than last year. We’ve been able to see our competition and network with the top industry players, so it’s been a good show.” — Hari Neelarath, 24/7 Medical Billing, Austin, Tex.
“Overall we’ve made great connections at Medtrade. We’ve seen high quality attendees—decision-makers. We plan to go to Phoenix in 2026.” — Elizabeth Huggins, DME Billing Pro by Svast, Brentwood, Tenn.
