LOVELAND, CO – With one Medtrade per year, the sense of unity in Dallas is unmistakable. I felt it last year when the vast majority of exhibitors expressed considerable enthusiasm. Every year I wander the floor with my notebook (that’s me on the right) and ask for opinions.
As editor of Medtrade Monday for the last 15 years, I’ve seen a remarkable consistency in the industry—at least in one respect; Optimism among providers has ebbed and flowed, but resilience has never wavered.
Now that the new year is upon us, that resilience turns into resolve. With a Feb. 18 beginning for Medtrade, it’s well positioned to serve as a springboard for education and inspiration. As a reminder, the dates are Feb. 18-20, 2025 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.
Providers and manufacturers are gearing up to take advantage of the much-hyped baby boom generation that can’t be ignored. Demand is rising and Medtrade is the place to take advantage of the demographic shifts.
It’s not all about the business at Medtrade. After all, I saw a lot of hugs, smiles, and handshakes last year, and that networking is about friendship as well as shop talk. Ultimately, people like face-to-face trade shows because they are the best way to corral that most precious of commodities—inspiration.
I am hopelessly biased, but I hope you take the plunge. Buy the plane ticket or fill up the car’s gas tank. Make the trip to Dallas and experience what it’s like to focus on the business for three days.
