ELYRIA, OH – Invacare America is partnering its divisions—Freedom Designs and Matrx by Motion Concepts. The partnership is expected to deliver integrated manual wheelchair and seating solutions for Invacare America’s customers. The pairing combines Freedom Designs’ custom wheelchair expertise with Matrx’s advanced seating technology, creating an “on-chair” solution for personalized comfort and support.
“When crafting wheelchairs, the goal is not only to provide solutions to people with mobility challenges – it is to enhance their lives,” said Gavriela Guerrero, managing director of Freedom Designs. “Through this partnership, we can more effectively get products to customers that help empower individuals to move freely and comfortably in their daily lives.”
Users will experience greater personalization and clinician-driven configurations that help elevate comfort and stability. A streamlined ordering process will relieve customers of the burden of ordering various parts through separate transactions, enabling the use of a single order form, one purchase order, one invoice, and one delivery day — simplifying workflows and improving efficiency.
“This collaboration reinforces our commitment to delivering advanced, comprehensive mobility solutions that place users’ needs first,” said Judy Rowley, vice president of Matrx. “By increasing access to our innovative products, we can reach and support even more people who could benefit from these products.”
Matrx seating solutions will be listed on Freedom Designs’ fillable order form. They will also be available across the full Invacare America network—expanding access and strengthening the distribution of its innovative products.
