ATLANTA – Medtrade East wrapped up last month with attendees placing their votes on their favorite entrants in the New Product Pavilion.

The New Product Pavilion Providers’ Choice Bronze Award, sponsored by HomeCare Media, eventually went to the SitnStand standing-assistance system for wheelchairs and other chairs.

The product from Israel-based Life Assistant Ltd. is a sit-to-stand lift solution made from viscoelastic memory foam that promotes comfortable sitting along with the familiar lifting action often associated with lift chairs.

According to company officials, the portable SitnStand is an easy way to get up from any chair, armchair, sofa, or even a patient’s favorite seat.

The products were introduced at last month’s Medtrade East where Gal Goldner, CEO (pictured above right with Amir Schiori) demonstrated the product repeatedly for interested attendees.

“We had a lot of good conversations at Medtrade East,” Goldner said. “We closed some deals a day after the show, and more deals on the following days…Overall we got an amazing reaction and our booth was busy all the time.”
