DALLAS – The United States Medical Compression Alliance (USMCA) is working with Medtrade to bring attendees additional information about the Lymphedema Treatment Act. USMCA represents the five main compression manufacturers: medi USA; Essity (parent company of the Jobst brand); Juzo; Lohmann & Rauscher; and Sigvaris.
USMCA has worked with CMS to properly implement the Lymphedema Treatment Act, and their efforts will also extend to private health insurers in the future. At Medtrade, a USMCA representative will co-present with Bill Lobosco (Sunmedical), Sarah Bramblette (LAG), and Noel Neil (ACU-Serve) on Wednesday, March 27. Next week’s Medtrade Monday will offer additional details.
New CRT Track At Medtrade
DALLAS – This year, AAHomecare helped spearhead a fresh addition to the Medtrade education lineup, specifically a complex rehab technology (CRT) track with five sessions designed to help providers expand their product offerings, maximize repair business, effectively engage federal and state policymakers on CRT issues, improve sales, and streamline prior authorizations.
With inflation, cost increases, labor shortages, and increasing scrutiny on repair processes facing CRT providers, this track provides tools to help providers get ahead of the game and network with peers in the mobility sector. See below for dates and times for all five sessions.
