ATLANTA – All Medtrade East registrants have a better way to arrange one-on-one meetings with exhibitors. The system is called MedtradeMeet and it is a powerful matchmaking platform designed to facilitate product discovery and new connections between exhibitors, speakers, and attendees. MedtradeMeet accounts are created as people register, and all registrants will be e-mailed log-in information for the brand new MedtradeMeet system.
“MedtradeMeet is all about connecting buyers and sellers,” explains Sarah Varner, senior director of Marketing. “It’s about bringing together providers who are seeking new products or business-operating resolutions with exhibitors in a safe, efficient environment to do business—which is really the goal of Medtrade. We have invested in this platform to help facilitate those connections and make everyone’s time at Medtrade as productive as possible.”
This type of system has been used in other Emerald shows, and Medtrade officials believe it will be a useful tool for Medtrade East attendees. MedtradeMeet allows attendees to search exhibitors and vice versa by product category/interest and job title, making it easy to find potential matches and request one-on-one meetings at the show.
“Accepted meetings will be held during the show in a designated MedtradeMeet space on the expo floor,” Varner adds. “It’s imperative that the first thing everyone does upon their initial login is to update their availability in the platform’s calendar.”
