ATLANTA – I have been to a lot of Medtrades and one thing remains remarkably consistent; Those who take the time and effort to make the trip rarely regret it. I know because I ask. Anecdotal evidence, you protest? Yes, but it’s a lot of anecdotes.
The value comes from the undeniable focus when HME providers take one, two, or even three days to concentrate completely on the business. Whether it’s conversations in hallways or scheduled networking events, the information flows freely among providers who are not direct competitors.
We’ve made the flow of information a little more fluid this year via Ask The Experts. In years past, it was a ticketed and separate event. This year, every Conference attendee is welcome to come to the event and use the resources that are put forth in that session.
“The speakers at Ask The Experts are off the charts,” said York Schwab in a recent editorial, and he is correct. Workshops and educational sessions are equally packed with topics that are highly relevant in today’s world.
The first day of the show is the biggest day with Workshops, educational sessions, and the opening of the Expo. Last year featured a “Preview Night” but this year the Opening Night Reception is truly the opening of the Expo.
All of Medtrade East amounts to an opportunity for inspiration. We all spend money on a lot of things, but inspiration is difficult to buy. Attendees feel energized, inspired, and ready to go back to the office with new products and new ideas.
Advance Rates are still in effect for Medtrade East, but they are only good through Oct. 14. I look forward to seeing you at Medtrade East, scheduled for Oct. 24-26, 2022 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
