SCS Direct, Trumbull, Conn. is one of those show rookies, and their considerable innovation will be on display when they bring what CEO Howard Greenspan calls My Crutches – The World’s First Fashion Crutches.
With just a little over a month until Medtrade West, Medtrade Monday sat down with Greenspan to learn a little more about the Connecticut-based company that puts a fashion twist on a familiar piece of medical equipment.
Medtrade Monday: Why should attendees pay a visit to your booth?
Greenspan: Breaking a leg isn’t fun. Why make it worse with unsightly crutches? Medtrade Monday: What is your history with Medtrade?
Greenspan: We are a new vendor, but we are a seasoned consumer product company. We have a product that just makes people scratch their heads and say, ‘why has no one ever done this?’ These should be offered at every office nationwide when someone needs crutches—the basic silver and the fashion fun.
Medtrade Monday: What is your level of optimism these days?
Greenspan: We are beyond optimistic because we developed a way to print on, and change for the better, one of the biggest sold commodities in our industry. We believe no one has ever seen anything like My Crutches before. With that in mind, we are selectively choosing partners and distributors and welcome all inquiries and territories. We look forward to Medtrade West.
