LAS VEGAS – In yet another close vote, Medtrade Spring attendees cast their votes for the best new products in the New Product Pavilion Providers’ Choice Awards (sponsored by HomeCare Magazine) and the Hoverboard Buddy System by Inventor Lady (Denver, Colo) earned the Bronze Award.

The Hoverboard Buddy system can turn a standard wheelchair into a motorized chair. The product’s adaptive accessories can modify the average hoverboard to accommodate individual physical needs at home, work, and play.

According to Rita Crompton, owner, The Inventor Lady, the product can help HME providers to boost sales in the rehab/mobility category. “The HoverBoard Buddy System is a creative way to take a popular new “toy” technology and turn it into an exciting tool,” says Crompton. “This new option is fun and easy to use and makes perfect sense.
